Maintenance Painter – Part-time

We are currently seeking a hard working, motivated Maintenance Painter to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis at our Tarragal Glen Retirement Village, located in Erina on the beautiful NSW Central Coast. You will play a critical role in assisting to maintain a high standard to this beautifully established village.

You will be responsible for painting duties such as repair and maintenance of villas, offices, leisure centres, community halls and public amenities. You will be expected to mend holes in plaster board and perform touch up painting as well as assist the maintenance team with other relevant duties.

The hours of this part-time role are:

Monday to Wednesday: 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 pm (22.50 hours per week)

However, the successful candidate does need to be flexible so as to work additional/alternate hours to meet the operational needs of the Village, if and when required.

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in a similar role. You will be someone that can work unsupervised for prolonged periods of time, liaise with stakeholders, order materials and equipment hire, and be highly capable of problem solving.

To be successful in this position you would have worked within a similar environment and hold the following:

• Trade Certificate (desirable);
• Current First Aid Certificate;
• Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one);
• Tools and equipment;
• Ability to work well within a team and also work unsupervised; and
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise your tasks.
