The exhibition will feature a wide range of sculpture and paintings incorporating Holger’s trademark bold use of colour, and will run until 31st January.

The village is extending an invitation to the general public to attend the red-carpet launch party at 6pm in the community centre.

Co-Village Manager Anne Jack said anyone who has seen Holger’s work can’t help but be impressed.

“All of Holger’s exhibitions have been fantastically well received and we’re lucky to have his talents at our village,” she said.

Holger’s March exhibition at GIGS Art Gallery was a runaway success, paving the way for his next showing at the village’s community centre.

“This will be the first time I will exhibit my sculptures,” he said.

“It’s very exciting because I’ve been working on this exhibition for four months.”

Since moving to Murray Gardens 18 months ago, Holger has enjoyed having the time and freedom to perfect his art.

“I have had so many new ideas that I’ve got from exhibitions, the Internet, and the art gallery where I volunteer,” he said.

“Hundreds of hours of experimentation, frustration and moments of pure joy go into my work.”

The launch event will include live music, a licenced bar and gourmet food, commencing at 6pm at 36 Mountford Crescent, East Albury on Friday 8th December.
