Meet our residents
Margaret, Tea Tree Gardens, South Australia
When asked what are the biggest benefits to life at Tea Tree Gardens Retirement Village, residents Margaret, Edna and Pearl come to similar conclusions.
“Companionship and friendship, definitely,” Margaret said. “There are 26 activities in the village, but nobody pressures you to be involved. Also, everybody is friendly and I’ve got very good neighbors. We always help
“I’ve got to know a lot of people in my own age group,” Edna said. “We are good friends, and I know they’re there. We have lots of things going on. There’s nothing to dislike, so I’m quite happy.”
“The benefits of living in the village are that everybody looks after everybody else,” Pearl said. “If you go away, someone’s collecting your mail, and watching after your place.”
Tea Tree Gardens is known for its thriving social atmosphere and welcoming community, and is set in leafy surrounds just 20 minutes drive from Adelaide CBD.
“The staff at Tea Tree Gardens are just wonderful,” Pearl added. They’re always so happy to help, and they never make you feel that you’re a nuisance or anything. They’re just delightful, I think.”
