Scott is a familiar face in Toowoomba, having raised three children in the area, and has previously worked in hospitality management, human resources and recruitment.

In his first few weeks in the role, Scott has enjoyed meeting residents and getting involved in a broad range of activities.

“I have really enjoyed the opportunity to meet so many of the genuinely nice people who make up the Drayton Villas community,” Scott said.

Known for its warm and inclusive resident community, Drayton Villas is one of Toowoomba’s most popular retirement living options.

Scott said the outstanding community spirit was a major draw when joining the team at Drayton Villas.

“Drayton Villas has a great community of residents and offers plenty of opportunities for people to come together and socialise,” Scott said.

“The community centre is right at the heart of the village, so no-one is far from the activities, and everyone can be involved as much or as little as they like.”

In his new role as Village Manager, Scott’s top priority is to ensure that Drayton Villas continues to provide its residents with relaxed, secure and vibrant retirement living.

“One of the great things about Drayton Villas is that our residents are engaged and have a lot of great ideas for the future,” Scott said.

“We want all our residents to wake up every day happy with their decision to move to Drayton Villas.”
