RetireAustralia supports safety ninja

Tonight RetireAustralia’s Senior HSE Advisor, Adam Eyles, takes a safety risk for a good cause, appearing on Australian Ninja Warrior to shine a spotlight on Cystic Fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) primarily affects the lungs and digestive system because of a malfunction in the exocrine system.

People suffering from CF are rarely able to work a full-time job, spending more than a third of their life in hospital.

The average life expectancy for someone with CF is 27 and there is no cure. Carriers of the defective gene which causes CF live with no symptoms.

Adam has CF and is an inspiration to his team with his focus on health, wellbeing and living a positive life.

RetireAustralia is pleased to support Adam in promoting awareness of Cystic Fibrosis. To continue his work, they will be participating in Bounce 2 Breathe, an upcoming Cystic Fibrosis QLD initiative where participants ‘bounce’ to raise funds and awareness for this worthy cause.

Funds raised will go towards supporting families living with CF.

Adam recommends couples wanting to start a family consider undertaking a simple blood test to determine whether they are carriers of the disease.

Tune into Australian Ninja Warrior tonight at 7:30pm on Nine to see how far Adam makes it!
