Previously a Relationship Manager at ECH Group, where she looked after home care packages for clients, Sharyn has had a busy and enjoyable first week in her new role.
“It has been a great week getting to know how the village works, and I have met lots of wonderful people,” she said.
“We had our R U OK? Day morning tea on Tuesday, which was a great chance to meet a lot of the residents.”
As Village Manager, it is Sharyn’s responsibility to look after the day-to-day running of the village, and to ensure all residents have access to vibrant retirement lifestyles.
A resident of Woodside, Sharyn said she was initially impressed with the attractive look and feel of the village.
“The beautiful gardens and grounds really stand out,” she said.
“Plus, the fact the village is so close to local amenities makes it very convenient.”
Sharyn has only been in her new role for a week, and is looking forward to getting more and more involved in village life in the coming days.
“I’m most keen to meet all the residents and begin working with them to make The Laurels the best possible place to live,” she said.
