Burleigh Golf Club and RetireAustralia are pleased that Development Approval for the retirement village project is now in full effect with the submitter appeal period concluding with no appeals lodged.
After two and half years working together, both parties are looking forward to progressing their partnership, which will demonstrate that retirement living development on underutilised sport and recreation land can deliver excellent community and club outcomes.
RetireAustralia are continuing to receive new enquiry for the project and are progressing with marketing planning which will formally announce the project to prospective buyers in the coming months.
The project will include 145 contemporary, age-friendly apartments, 32 purpose-built care suites and a wellness centre for residents and club members.
It has been carefully sited on underutilised land at the edge of the golf course and has been designed to minimise impact on surrounding residences.
