A small number of brand new villas remain for sale at RetireAustralia’s Glengara and Forresters Beach, after a remarkable 113 of 117 newly built villas were sold in the previous year.
Since March last year, 49 of 50 newly-built villas have sold at the 260-villa capacity Forresters Beach, while just three of 67 new villas remain at the 314-villa capacity Glengara.
Glengara Village Manger, Andrew Glover, said he wasn’t surprised at how quickly the final new villas have sold.
“Both villages offer the benefit of well-established communities, coupled with the rare opportunity to own a brand new, architecturally designed home,” he said.
“Our residents enjoy a very high-quality lifestyle, and at the heart of that are the spacious, quality villas our villages offer.”
Glengara resident Christine Benham moved into a new villa in September of last year and has been enjoying village life since.
“I’ve got nothing but praise for the whole village,” Christine said.
“When you walk around, you always get a smile and a ‘hello’ from everybody in the whole complex.”
Glengara Retirement Village has a two-bedroom villa and two three-bedroom villas remaining, ranging from $580,000* to $670,000*.
The ever-popular Forresters Beach Retirement Village has a single two-bedroom villa still available for $575,000*.
While these four villas are the final new villas to be sold, Andrew said anyone who misses out shouldn’t despair.
“One upside to retirement villages is we always reinstate and refurbish villas to be resold to a high-quality, ‘as-new’ standard,” Andrew said.
“While it isn’t brand new, it certainly feels like it.”
