New South Wales

Tarragal Glen Retirement Village’s Retirement Living Seminar on Saturday 24th November is designed to help seniors make informed choices about their future living needs.

The Central Coast event will include presentations by expert speakers in the home care, finance, real estate, conveyancing and downsizing fields.

Attendees are also welcome to enjoy a complimentary morning tea and afternoon refreshments, take a village tour and inspect a fantastic range of properties.

The seminar will run from 10am to 1:30pm, with attendees requested to RSVP to 1300 68 77 38.

Meanwhile, at Belrose Country Club Retirement Village in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, a summer fair on Saturday 24th November will be rife with summer vibes and shopping opportunities.

Market stalls will include arts and crafts, jewellery, white elephant, cakes and plants.

Live entertainment, an art display, a morning tea, sausage sizzle and activities will round out the fun.

Additionally, an open house will be held at Queens Park Retirement Village in Waverley on Saturday 17th November from 10am to 12pm, with all welcome to attend.

Queensland

In Bargara, Queensland, Carlyle Gardens Retirement Village will get into the festive spirit at its Christmas market and open day on Saturday 17th November from 9am to 12pm at 3 Carlyle Court.

Everyone is invited to get a head start on their Christmas shopping, take part in the monster raffle, enjoy games and activities, and indulge themselves at the food stalls.

Funds will be raised for the Friendlies Foundation, the charitable fundraising arm of the Friendly Society Private Hospital in Bundaberg.

South Australia

Lincoln Grove Retirement Village in Port Lincoln, South Australia will challenge the idea that there’s no such thing as a free lunch (or dinner!) at its summer barbecue on Friday 16th November.

The village is inviting the public to enjoy free food and drink from 4pm to 6pm in the village’s community centre at 27 Marine Avenue.

“What better way to welcome the warmer months than with a traditional Aussie barbecue?” said Lincoln Grove’s Promotions and Events Coordinator, Anna Zinenko.
