A rewarding retirement at Tarragal Glen

Gloria and Graeme Power have never looked back since making the move to Tarragal Glen Retirement Village seven years ago.

The Western Australia natives had first settled in Sydney to be near family, but the city proved too hectic and a move to an independent living villa at the Central Coast village followed.

“It’s probably the best thing we’ve ever done,” Gloria said.

“It’s a really, really friendly village and we’ve made some lovely friends.”

After almost 30 years of operation, Tarragal Glen is one of the most trusted and loved retirement living options on the Central Coast.

Centred around 12 acres of picturesque parkland, the village is known for its strong community spirit and relaxed way of life – much like suburbia of old.

Social connection is a major advantage of village life, Gloria said.

“There’s so much to do and there’s so much happening that we couldn’t possibly keep up with it all,” she said.

“My husband says he has never had so much to do since he retired and moved here.”

The village’s convenient location is also a big plus for the couple.

“It’s close to the shopping centre, the bus services and the doctors,” Gloria said.

“Everything we want is here.”

Gloria’s advice for anyone considering making the move to Tarragal Glen is simple.

“Don’t hesitate!”
