Staff make a village a home at Queens Park

An organisation is only as good as its employees, or so the saying goes, and at Queens Park Retirement Village in inner Sydney, staff are making a positive difference to residents’ lives on a daily basis.

With quality of service more important than ever before in the industry, Village Manager Beata Letowski and her team are dedicated to making residents’ lives as stress-free and secure as possible.

“Our number one priority every single day is our residents,” she said.

“Across our independent living and care apartments living options, we try to make sure everyone enjoys living at Queens Park.”

Margaret Carr, an independent living villa resident for over 15 years, said she considers herself lucky to be living at Queens Park.

“The village is unique, and the staff are just incredible,” Margaret said.

“They go well and above the call of duty.”

Natalie Downey, daughter of care apartment resident Marion Brown, said her family had peace of mind knowing her mother was being cared for by full-time, 24-hour staff.

“They are all so good with mum in caring for her, and it really puts our family at ease,” she said.

“We are very happy and at ease knowing mum is cared for, getting three meals a day, and she’s never been happier.”

Located just seven kilometres east of Sydney’s CBD in Waverley and close to Bondi Beach and a range of amenities, Queens Park Retirement Village is highly sought-after for its location and reputation.

“I really think it’s fantastic facility,” Natalie said.

“The lengths the staff go to are unbelievable.”
