Belrose is a suburb of the prestigious Northern Beaches region of Sydney and is located 19kms north-east of the Sydney CBD.
The name "Belrose" is derived from the names of native flowers Christmas Bell and Native Rose.
Belrose is primarily a residential area, but also has two shopping centres, a theatre, a library and sporting fields. The northern border of Belrose backs onto Garrigal National Park and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.
Belrose is located in the Warringah area which stretches from Pittwater in the north to Manly in the south. Warringah is home to 14kms of stunning Sydney coastline and 6,000 hectares of natural bushland.
