What does this mean? It means you can choose to wake up and have some support with showering at 9am, rather than 7am. It means support for a daily routine at times that suit you, not us. It means building the life you want into your care plan, rather than sacrificing the things you love because they’re no longer convenient.
Life on your terms
It’s easy to limit care to physical or medical needs. While these are fundamental, all of us are whole people—and connection and choice matter just as much.
We give you the freedom to maintain your independence and to make the call on what matters most to you. We take everything into account: your independence and your physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing. For us, it’s about being there with care—however and whenever you need it.

Respite Care
If you need a little extra care in the short-term – perhaps to recover from illness, injury or a hospital stay – respite care could be the answer. At Glengara Care, you can stay in a care apartment for up to two weeks. This gives you the opportunity to recuperate, away from home, chores, and cooking. By letting us look after you, you can focus on what’s most important– getting better.
Home Care
A Home Care Package, either through RetireAustralia or your own provider, can help to offset the costs of your care as well helping you to continue living life the way you choose. RetireAustralia Home Care offers residents the same trust, familiarity, and feeling of ‘home’ that they already have about their village. It’s care when you need it, in your own home, with familiar faces who really understand your needs.
