Our residents

Our residents come from a diverse range of backgrounds, professions and experiences and lead rich, fulfilling lives here at Murray Gardens. Get to know some of our residents’ stories and find out why our village appealed to them and how living here has changed their lives.

Marg and Ian, residents since 2014

“We knew that Murray Gardens was here because we’ve lived in East Albury all our lives. We absolutely loved the beautiful gardens and the delightful cottages, so it wasn’t a difficult choice! We also love the fact that there’s plenty going on. You can choose whatever interests you and decide what to take part in. Since we moved into Murray Gardens we have met a group of wonderful new friends and that’s been one of the best things. We found it very friendly as soon as we arrived!"

Anne and Bruce, residents since 2014

“Before we moved in, we attended some of the functions at Murray Gardens and thought that it had a very good sense of community. Since we’ve moved in we play mahjong and attend the village’s monthly dinners. We also stay active outside the village by playing golf and going to wineries with our friends. The maintenance-free living is also an attractive feature. If either of us were going to be ill, we’d appreciate knowing that the maintenance is taken care of.”
