Activities create a social environment at Queens Park

With a range of organised activities such as bingo, games, exercise classes and barbeques the residents at Queens Park Assisted Living in Waverley are spoilt for choice.
All the activities and social events are organised by the Village Manager, Beata with the assistance of her team.
“Everyone loves bingo and Friday games. Each week we come up with something new such as charades and all kinds of mind games. It’s fantastic seeing everyone participate with such enthusiasm!” Beata says.
New resident Ethel Bonert has only lived at Queens Park in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, for six months and says that “after a little while you feel like you’ve lived here forever!”
“The staff are caring and Beata is amazing!” Ethel says.
Recently Ethel won bingo and to mark the occasion Beata presented her with a trophy and chocolates.

“I like to join in as many activities as I can. The exercise classes are held twice weekly and they are great for keeping your balance,” Ethel says.
With regular events in the elegant community centre and a lounge and dining area for socialising, Queens Park offers a welcoming environment for residents.
“It’s a wonderful village – like having an extended family. The residents here are very happy, friendly and up for a chat, but you can be as private as you like.”
