Social Media House Rules

 

On social media we share news and insights about retirement living, our retirement communities and our business, as well as content that is of interest to older Australians and their families. We welcome your participation and feedback and encourage you to join the conversation and become an active part of our online communities. By using or posting on RetireAustralia’s social media channels, you are accepting our house rules.

  1. While we appreciate feedback and commentary, we ask that all users show respect, courtesy and common sense.
  2. Please do not post anything that could be considered:
    • abusive, hateful, inflammatory or defamatory
    • offensive, vulgar or profane
    • harassment or a personal attack
    • racial, religious or political
    • disrespectful to others, in particular older Australians
    • personal or sensitive information
    • in violation of any intellectual property rights
    • in violation of any law or regulation
    • spam
    • deceptive or misleading
    • off topic, repetitive or inappropriate.
  3. RetireAustralia reserves the right to monitor and remove any content that we consider to be outside these guidelines. Please respect other community members and their opinions and report any inappropriate or offensive material directly on RetireAustralia’s social media channels.

Our social media channels are monitored from Monday to Friday 9.00am-4.30pm and we will aim to respond to messages and comments within 1 business day.
