On social media we share news and events from our retirement communities and which is of interest to older Australians. We welcome your participation and feedback, and encourage you to join the conversation and become an active part of our community. By using or posting on RetireAustralia’s social media channels, you are accepting our house rules.
- While we appreciate feedback and commentary, we ask that all users show respect, courtesy and common sense.
- Please do not post anything that could be considered:
- off topic, repetitive or inappropriate
- abusive, hateful, inflammatory or defamatory
- offensive in tone, language or graphically
- harassment or personal attacks against other users
- racial, religious or political in reference or tone
- disrespectful to older Australians
- personal or sensitive information about other users
- in violation of any intellectual property rights
- in violation of any law or regulation
- spam
- deceptive or misleading
- vulgar or profane.
- RetireAustralia reserve the right to monitor and remove any content that we consider to be outside these guidelines. Please respect other community members and their opinions and report any inappropriate or offensive material directly on RetireAustralia’s social media channels.
- Facebook also reserve the right to remove any content users post on RetireAustralia’s Facebook pages which is in violation of the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. See www.facebook.com/terms.
Our pages are monitored from Monday to Friday 9.00am-4.30pm and we will aim to respond to messages and comments within 1 business day.
