In May, the Torrens Grove Retirement Village staff and residents hosted a Biggest Afternoon tea to raise money for the Cancer Council.
Over 50 residents enjoyed a “High Tea” style event, with a glass of bubbles on arrival, tasty treats to eat and great conversation with friends and neighbours.
According to Village Manager, Michelle Cheetham ‘One of the biggest joys of the day was seeing residents mix outside their usual social group and come together for a cause so very close to all our hearts’.
With the generosity of residents, the Torrens Grove community raised $566.25 for the Cancer Council.
