The village is throwing its doors open to the public for special performances by the MC Big Band, the ConChordia Choir and the Mezzo Strings Ensemble on 18th November, 2nd December and 9th December respectively.
Village Manager Chiquita Walsh said Murray Gardens was fortunate to have secured such talent to perform, with just a gold coin donation required to attend.
“They are fantastic bands and singers, and have amazing musical stories to tell,” she said.
“The concerts are going to make Christmas at the village truly special.”
The Murray Conservatorium has been a prominent part of the local music community since 1981, and is partially funded by the Department of Education.
The 18th November performance by the MC Big Band will coincide with the village’s Christmas market, with all proceeds going to the Albury-Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
