We celebrated Mother’s Day on the 12th May with a beautiful high tea, put on by our residents’ social activities committee.

One hundred residents came along, some bringing their family members too. Our guests enjoyed scones, cucumber sandwiches, and tea and coffee – all served on our best china. We gave out bouquets of flowers to our mums to brighten their day. The residents’ social activities committee here at Carlyle Gardens puts on raffles throughout the year to raise money, so were able to fund this fantastic event. This ensured it was completely free for residents and their guests to enjoy.
