Wood Glen Retirement Village recently welcomed a new Village Manager, Vanessa Fordyce.

Vanessa was previously the Village Manager at Wood Glen’s sister village, Tarragal Glen, having joined the team there in 2015, and lives in Empire Bay with her husband and twin children Harriet and Frederick.
In her first week in the role, she has enjoyed meeting residents and learning about life at Wood Glen.
“The residents held a morning tea on Tuesday to welcome me,” Vanessa said.
“There were over 60 residents in attendance, and it was lovely to have so many people welcoming me to their community.”
As Village Manager, Vanessa is responsible for day-to-day operations within the village and ensuring residents enjoy a relaxed and secure lifestyle at Wood Glen.
“I’m looking forward to listening to, and working with, each of the residents to learn how I can best be of assistance to the broader Wood Glen community,” she said.
With modern villas, impeccable gardens, and a vibrant social community, Wood Glen is close to transport links, Erina Fair shopping centre, beaches, and areas of natural beauty.
“There is a real boutique community atmosphere which you can feel as you move around the village,” Vanessa said.
