New Retirement Villages

RetireAustralia is building the future of retirement living.

As an experienced operator, RetireAustralia understands how to develop retirement communities that meet the needs and desires of older Australians.

Whether we’re expanding our existing communities or establishing new ones from the ground up, we endeavour to:

  • Pursue projects that will deliver contemporary, high-quality retirement living with a continuum of care
  • Form enduring, mutually beneficial partnerships with landholders and the local community
  • Design spaces that are beautiful, functional and purpose-built for Australian seniors
  • Remain in the local community as an operator and as a neighbour

The Verge building at sunset

The Verge at Burleigh G.C.

Under construction
Miami, Gold Coast

The Verge is a popular medium-rise retirement village overlooking Burleigh Golf Course on the Gold Coast. With the first two stages of development complete, a third stage of 62 apartments and a 10 suite Care Hub is now under construction. The Care Hub is an innovation in the provision of care and accommodation for older Australians and a genuine alternative to aged care, offering compassionate and person-centred care in a boutique and homelike environment.

Stage one and two comprises 106 independent living apartments and a range of amenities including a Wellness Centre with state-of-the-art exercise equipment, café, physiotherapy and medical consulting rooms and an Activities Hub with an auditorium, resident bar and kitchen and flexible spaces for meetings, events, table tennis and indoor bowls.

The Verge stage one has a 4 Star Green Star rating representing best practice in environmentally sustainable building practices. The Verge stage two has also received a 4 Star Green Star design rating and stage three is registered for Green Star. Both stages have a Gold Australian Livable Housing accreditation for accessible design.

The Green Tarragindi - Community Gardens

The Green Tarragindi

Now Open
Tarragindi, Brisbane

The Green Tarragindi takes all aspects of sustainability, care and ageing well into account. Delivered under a partnership between RetireAustralia and the Yeronga Services and Community Club, the site of the Tarragindi Bowls Club has been reimagined as a boutique 92-apartment retirement village adjoining Australia’s newest, championship-quality bowling green, club house and café.

The Green offers residents the best of both worlds – a desirable, tree-lined location in the heart of Tarragindi with over 70 per cent of the site dedicated to open space; yet only 8km from Brisbane’s CBD and close to retail, entertainment and medical facilities.
The 11 unique apartment layouts contemporary and carefully considered in design, layout and interior finishes to cater to residents’ needs such as changes in mobility or visual impairment. The energy-efficient community produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions and consume less energy and water, helping reduce ongoing costs.

The Green has a Gold Australian Livable Housing accreditation for accessible design and is registered for Green Star, an internationally recognised sustainability rating system.
