The decision to make a sea change from Sydney to the Central Coast was an easy one for Tarragal Glen Retirement Village resident June Milner.
“The first day we saw the village we were so impressed with what it had to offer that we put a deposit down straight away and moved in as soon as the house was sold,” she said.
That was in 1996, and June is more certain than ever that making the move was the right thing to do.
“We’re right beside Erina Fair Shopping Centre, but the great thing is you’d never know once you’re in the village,” she said.

“The location is perfect – close to shops, restaurants, the doctor and the cinema.”
Offering both independent living villas and care apartments and set around a beautiful, 17-hectare public park, Tarragal Glen has built up a solid and trusted reputation during its almost 30 years of providing premier retirement lifestyles.
“There are so many things to offer – the library, the pool, bowling green and everything,” June said.
“You have so many options to socialise with all the people around you.
“You don’t need to go outside the village, basically!”
With median property prices in Erina continuing to be considerably lower than many Sydney suburbs, a sea change to the Central Coast is an attractive option for retirees.
“We’re placed in an amazing locality, near to the beach and public transport” June said.
“I just can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t want to come to Tarragal Glen.”
