Last week Boambee Gardens held their first Cuppas, Cabernet and Canvases session, taking a little inspiration from sister retirement village Newling Gardens.
Under the guidance and direction of local artist Ros, and with a cuppa in hand, 12 budding artists set about creating their very own masterpiece.
Boambee Gardens Village Manager, Lexi Connor, said judging by the laughter coming from the room, the residents were having loads of fun.
“There was so much interest in the first session we needed to create a waitlist.”
Residents are already keenly asking when the next one will be. Due to the overwhelming response, another session has been planned for early August, this time led by resident artist Robyn.
Judging by the art created, we have some talented artists in the making at Boambee Gardens!
